Nick Cannon Once Shared Women Have to Deal With an Emotional Unstable Artist When Dating Him

Nick Cannon hasn’t only dated celebrities like Mariah Carey, who he dated for six months before marrying. His relationship history is filled with women from all different professions and backgrounds. However, while dating, Cannon warned his future potential girlfriends what they were up against when dealing with him.

Cannon has been very open about some of the mental health challenges he’s faced that have interfered with his quality of life. He’s been dealing with neurological challenges ever since he was young.

“Even as a kid, it was dyslexia, but just knowing that I’m just a neurodivergent individual, I kind of always knew,” he said in an interview with People.

As an adult, Cannon started taking his mental health more seriously. After visiting a therapist, he discovered that he had narcissistic personality disorder.

“I still don’t understand it all the way. But I kind of always wanted to get tested for it. I did a bunch of tests,” he revealed.

Some symptoms of the diagnosis include a constant need for validation and admiration from peers and a shortage of empathy. Cannon also asserted that he was told he demonstrated every marker for the condition. Still, he took the news as further motivation to improve himself.

“I feel like there’s so many labels out there, but it’s like, to be able to embrace it and say, ‘Look, I’m healing. I need help. Show me.’ I just embrace mental health and therapy in such a strong way,” he said. “To be able to say I’m an example for others, but also be healing during the self-process works too.”

“I’ve taken all the power away from the term narcissism ’cause I’ve researched it and I understand it,” he added. “Call me whatever you want… now if I didn’t know what it was, then I have issue with it.”

Cannon’s self-awareness has helped him identify what he needs to work on about himself. But it’s also helped him prepare future girlfriends for what they might have in store when dating the actor. Cannon has had 12 children with six exes and hasn’t been able to maintain a romantic relationship with any of them. In a 2016 interview with ABC News, he explained that his emotional side might be one of the reasons why.

“I yearn for it the way everybody else does,” Cannon said about being in love. “I’m super, super emo so if anyone wants to deal with an emotional unstable artist, I’m here.”

Cannon’s narcissism might’ve even played a role in his divorce from Carey. The couple shocked the world when they announced their separation after six years of marriage. They broke up because of several reasons, including Cannon’s ego. Speaking on the Ray Daniels Presents podcast, Cannon revisited the identity crisis he experienced deep into his marriage with Carey.

“I didn’t actually really care what the world thought,” Cannon said. “But going to myself, that pressure of, ‘Who am I?’ I got married in my 20s to the biggest star in the world.”

He confided that his role in life shifted dramatically from being his own person to just being Carey’s husband.

“My trajectory was [down] here and she’s already in a different stratosphere,” he said. “I would lay up at night thinking, ‘Is this who I am? Am I Mariah’s man? Is that what my life is supposed to be?’”

But eventually, Cannon decided he couldn’t fit the part he played with Carey anymore. Although he tried to make it work, he needed to break away from Carey’s shadow in the end.

“She got islands and I was waking up at noon and people bringing me steaks on a platter. But I’m like, ‘This ain’t the hustle,’” he said. “And then when you have children … your manship is like, ‘Wait, I’m carrying a purse, the diaper bag, I’m standing on the corner.’ She’s rocking being all the alpha that she is.”

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift just might have a big vacation coming up. As in a life-altering one that ends with a marriage proposal and a ring on the Grammy winner’s finger. Kelce, 35, may reportedly propose to Swift, 35, on an upcoming vacation.

According to an Us Weekly report, Kelce may get down on one knee when he and Swift jet off on a romantic getaway. With the NFL season over (Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs lost in the Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles) and Swift taking it easy after wrapping her Eras Tour in December 2024, they’re taking some time together. Which, an insider claimed, may or may not include a marriage proposal.

“Those close to them actually think [Travis may do it] while they’re on vacation,” one source said. “Taylor wants to go to multiple places in Europe and somewhere tropical.” A second source noted that both Swift and Kelce are ready to get more serious in their relationship. “They are both on the same page about taking the next step,” they said.

It seems Swift’s feelings on a potential engagement have changed in recent months. In late 2024 the outlet reported Swift was in no rush to get engaged.

Travis and Taylor have to time to ‘go over plans’

With football season over and the Eras Tour wrapped, “madly in love” Swift and Kelce are happy to have more time to spend together, the first source said. “There’s no way to have a relationship when they’re all over the place with work,” the insider said. “It’s going to be easier now to find time to go over plans and make sure everything aligns.”

What will the NFL star and Grammy winner do during their downtime together? The second source revealed that Swift and Kelce plan on staying in Kansas City, Mo., for a few months. (Kelce has a sprawling home there.) “They both want to rest and decompress,” the source said, noting “Neither of them have huge commitments coming up.”

That will reportedly include fewer nights out and more time at home together. “They do love going out to dinner and getting drinks with friends,” the first source said. “But when they get the chance to be home together, they are very low-key.” Swift “cooks a lot for Travis. It’s his love language.”

A potential engagement depends on the future of Kelce’s football career

When the “Fortnight” singer and three-time Super Bowl winner get engaged depends partly on what’s ahead for Kelce career-wise. Namely, whether or not he decides to retire or continue playing with the Chiefs, the first source said.

Following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss to the Eagles, Kelce is said to be “reconsidering what he wants moving forward. He may come back next season.” He also shared on his “New Heights” podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce, that he’s not making any “crazy decisions” at this point.

The mother to daughters Anne, 12 months, and Katherine, 7, and son Spencer, 4, has never shared the identity of their father. During the ceremony, Kaling did call Novak an “important and integral part of my family.” This statement fueled the flames of speculation for fans who have noted Novak’s physical similarities to her children. The godfather of all three Kaling kids, Novak has never commented on the possibility that he’s their actual dad.

Fans did take to Reddit to share their opinions on the Novak-Kaling “situationship.” One commented, “I’m sorry but I have to bring up the are-they-arent-they. Okay she’s said he’s the kids godfather and like a father figure but not their biological father . . . but he is also her date to everything. Another element of Novak and Kaling’s questionable relationship: Neither has moved on with other partners since their split, at least publicly. The Ocean’s 8 actor dated author Benjamin Nugent for a few years in the early 2000s. Kaling was also briefly linked to Senator Cory Booker in 2022, but neither party confirmed the rumors. Novak was linked to actor January Jones in the mid-2010s. Neither confirmed these rumors either.

West didn’t appear in many episodes of his wife’s hit series at the beginning of their relationship. It wasn’t until later on that his presence in the series expanded. But it turned out that West didn’t avoid the show because he was camera shy. Instead, the “Jesus Walks” artist asserted his qualms with how production shot the show on camera. It was something he and Kardashian had in common. Kardashian was so conscious of her presentation on camera that she once refused to be shot from the waist down.

“I don’t really do her show just because I don’t particularly like the way the producers shoot some of the shots,” he said in a 2019 interview with Hot 97. “I’m very meticulous to that, right? I like to get a different DP [director of photography] or whatever.”

But in the beginning, West made certain exceptions to appearing on the show if only to make his ex-wife happy. He wanted his engagement to feel just as special as his wedding to Kardashian.

“When we got engaged, I made sure the show was there because I felt like that was something that would make her happy,” he said. “Regardless of how it was shot, I felt like this is a moment she would like to have and would like to share and just have that documented. And we could decide later or not to air it.”

West later decided to do the show more often because of The Incredibles.

“It was so funny because he loves The Incredibles and we were watching and they were opening it in a confessional, and so he was like, ‘OK, I think I can do that,'” Kardashian said in an interview with ET.

But Kardashian had to explain to her ex-husband what filming a confessional would be like.

“He can be a long talker … I just said, ‘We can edit out the length and, you know, just say whatever you want to say,’ and he was like, ‘What is this, like, an interview?’ And I was like, ‘No, well, just, like, you have to kind of retell what had happened and, like, set the tone so that, you know, the story can make sense to some people if they didn’t catch everything that we were filming’. He was like, ‘OK, I got it,'” he said.

When she was still with West, Kardashian received a question about a possible spin-off reality series focused on just her and her ex-husband. Kardashian didn’t rule out the possibility, especially after doing a brief spin-off of sorts with her sister Kourtney Kardashian. But she wasn’t sure if West would be interested in the opportunity.

“I don’t know. I don’t know if that’s something he would do,” she said in an interview with ET. “But, you know, I was in Miami recently, and it did make me really miss Kourtney and Kim Take Miami. So I don’t know, that would be really fun to revisit that.”

The Kardashian sisters were no stranger to spin-offs. Khloé Kardashian, for instance, had a spin-off with her ex-husband Lamar Odom called Khloé & Lamar. But the possibility of a Kanye and Kim-centric show died after the two called it quits for good. After the conclusion of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the sisters would star in the continuation spin-off The Kardashians.

The show picked up where its predecessor left off and also featured small appearances from West. There were also once talks of West and his current wife, Bianca Censori, doing a reality TV series. However, it remains to be seen if West’s alleged plans for the show are still in the works.

According to The U.S. Sun, Chalamet and Jenner sported the same white gold ring with brilliant-cut diamonds from the luxury French jeweler. The band includes black onyx spots and emeralds to look like a panther. The rings go for $76,000 each.

The Kelce family is reportedly all for Taylor Swift joining their ranks. An insider says Travis Kelce’s relatives are such big fans of the Grammy winner and NFL star’s relationship that they’d “love” to see it go the distance.

Apparently Swift doesn’t need to win over the Kelce family because she already has. According to a Page Six report, the “Down Bad” singer is “perfect” for Kelce in his family’s eyes.

A source close to the Kelces told the outlet the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s family is ready for an engagement and marriage. They claimed the entire Kelce family “adores” Swift. Furthermore, they think she’s a “perfect fit for Travis.”

Swift and Kelce began dating in the summer of 2023. Kelce had put the pop star “on blast”—her words—during an episode of his “New Heights” podcast. The three-time Super Bowl champion explained at the time he couldn’t give Swift a friendship bracelet with her number at her Eras show. Why? She wasn’t doing meet-and-greets.

Kelce’s mom and dad, Donna and Ed Kelce, as well as Jason, “would love to see Taylor and Travis spend their lives together,” the insider said. “They’ve never seen Travis so happy with a girlfriend before.”

The Kelces “know Taylor isn’t using Travis for his fame and that she truly loves and cares about him for who he is,” they added, noting “they feel like Taylor has a heart of gold.”

Melding two families can be difficult, but it’s apparently not an issue for the Swift and Kelce clans. “[The Kelce] family gets along great with Taylor’s family too,” the source said. “Their families blend seamlessly.”

The “Fortnight” singer has attended many Chiefs games alongside Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce, and father, Ed Kelce, as well her own parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, and brother, Austin Swift.

Previously, an insider claimed Kelce “loves” how Swift gets along well with his family. So much so that “it’s almost like she’s known his family forever.”

Even Mama Kelce has discussed the families getting along. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in 2024, Donna credited it to being from the Midwest. Calling the Swifts “wonderful people, very to Earth, [and] very Midwestern,” she said “Ohio and Pennsylvania are right next to each other so we kind of understand each other, so it’s really kind of nice. It feels like home.”

Travis and Taylor are currently dealing with the Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss

While the Kelce family may be all in on Tayvis/Traylor, the pair are currently dealing with KC’s failed attempt at a “three-peat” on Super Bowl Sunday. The Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22 on Feb. 9, 2025, with Swift and Kelce’s family in New Orleans, La., to watch it play out live.

Following the loss, the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” singer is reportedly “just trying to be there” for Kelce, 35, and “supporting” him. Meanwhile, according to body language expert Judi James, losing the Super Bowl brings their first “big challenge” as a couple, consoling “somebody that is very miserable.”

Megan Fox was allegedly distraught after she and Machine Gun Kelly announced their split not too long ago. The timing of their break-up perhaps couldn’t have been worse. However, sources indicate that the couple tried to salvage their relationship for their family.

There were already a few telling signs that Fox and Kelly weren’t going to stay together before they seemed to go their separate ways for good. Since becoming a couple in 2020, the pair got into several intense fights throughout their four-year relationship. In early 2024, Us Weekly reported that the two weren’t even living together after a particularly heated argument. However, back then the popular opinion was that they would remain together despite living in separate spaces.

“Friends around them don’t see them completely ending the relationship as they truly change their minds every day,” the source said.

But another insider thought otherwise and felt that Fox and Kelly butted heads too much for their relationship to be healthy.

“Megan and MGK have a very toxic relationship; their love literally makes them sick,” they said.

It seems that the latter was right. Fox and Kelly would eventually call it quits for good. But another Us Weekly source provided a bit more context to their final break-up. They reported that Fox’s pregnancy gave them even more incentive to work through their issues. The two have a few drastic differences, but their personalities are also very similar. Ironically, however, their similar personalities played a part in their downfall.

“They were trying to make it work again after the pregnancy. But they are both too hot-headed and fell back into their constant fighting,” the insider said. “They can’t get on the same page and it’s not easy for them being together.”

But Fox and Kelly still seem to maintain communication despite their brutal break-up.

“They don’t talk at great lengths but have exchanged a few texts,” they added.

Why Megan Fox reportedly dumped Machine Gun Kelly for good

Although a source alleged that Fox felt her trust issues were her fault, her lack of faith in Kelly might’ve been what ultimately ended their relationship. A Page Six insider revealed that Kelly gave his ex-fiancé reason to be suspicious.

“When they went away for the Thanksgiving holiday, she became suspicious and decided to go through his phone,” the source said.

If the story is to be believed, Fox discovered that Kelly was texting other women, which was the last straw. But as heartbroken as both might be, the source asserted that Fox was still in relatively high spirits. This must’ve been a relief since many feared Kelly would lead Fox down a very painful but familiar place.

“Megan is a strong, independent woman and doesn’t need a man in her life,” the source reassured.

There’s even a possibility that the break-up might be a blessing in disguise for Fox, who plans on renewing her career after the pregnancy.

“She has a renewed sense of confidence since being apart from MGK. And after the baby she will be focusing on a career comeback,” an insider told Us Weekly not too long ago. “The baby is the greatest gift to come from the relationship.”

It was also noted that Fox doesn’t regret having a child with Kelly despite their relationship not working out.

“She believes that while they may not have been meant to be together, she was meant to bring his child into the world,” they said. “Her children are her greatest blessing and far more important than any fleeting or destructive Hollywood relationship.”

Still, despite their standing, Kelly has attempted to reconcile with Fox. But the source claimed that Fox had moved on from the “Wild Boy” rapper for good this time. Even though she once credited herself for saving Kelly, it looks like this time Fox opted to save herself.

The extra-long episode thoroughly entertained viewers, with some stars seeing the lion’s share of red-carpet attention. Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy attended SNL50 with their dates in tow. Divorce rumors continue to fly around Justin and Hailey Bieber. The couple welcomed a baby boy, Jack Blues Bieber, in August 2024, and they seem elated to have a child together. However, insiders alleged that Justin is having a difficult time with his career. And others said Hailey is working overtime to pull him together. What’s going on with Justin and Hailey Bieber? The couple sparked separation rumors several times in 2024, particularly in the wake of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ arrest. Justin spent ample time with Combs in his younger years, and he allegedly fears getting pulled into the case. Many fans and insiders guessed that Justin’s stress impacted his marriage and overall well-being.

Hailey’s Instagram Stories on Valentine’s Day didn’t help. She posted a photo of the cat Topsy from Tom & Jerry stomping angrily along with the caption, “When you’re mad at him and he says, ‘Come here, baby.'” Hailey meant the story to be funny. But many fans wondered whether the couple was angry with each other on the love holiday.

Additionally, before Valentine’s Day, Justin commented on Keke Palmer’s latest Instagram post. The post shows Palmer attending an NBA game. “Had a fabulous time last night at the @nyknicks game, that Tatum on the Celtics was something serious with the ball, gagged me,” she captioned the post. “I wonder if I would be good at basketball? Watching it that close made me feel like I could, let me go call Angel Reese haha.”

Fans noticed Justin’s comment. “She said I’m poppin out,” he wrote with a heart-eyed emoji.

“Justin??? What are you doing here?” one fan commented on Justin’s comment.

“Commenting this before Valentine’s Day and posting your wife is crazy,” another fan wrote.

“Why the hell are you making your wife feel disrespected by popping up in the comment section of some other gorgeous woman?” yet another fan commented.

Despite the concern from fans, Justin Bieber posted photos of Hailey Bieber to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

“HAPPY VALENTINES DAY FROM THE BIEBERS [sic],” he captioned a post with several photos of him and Hailey. The photos appeared to be from a photo booth. Many of the grainy pictures showed the couple making funny faces.

“No offense but this looks forced,” one fan wrote.

“What’s wrong with him? He’s sooooo off,” another fan wrote.

A day later, Justin posted two photos of him and Hailey. Both photos show half of his face while he’s taking a selfie with his phone. She stands behind him and peeks out from his shoulder. Justin captioned the series with the lips emoji.

Some fans took to the comments and accused Hailey of posting on Justin’s account.

A body language expert analyzed the couple during their recent outing

Body language expert Patti Wood spoke to The U.S. Sun about what she noticed when Justin and Hailey Bieber appeared in public in February 2025. Justin wore oversized clothing that looked like pajamas while Hailey walked in front of him.

“When you wear sleepwear out and about, it’s projecting that you want to be tucked away safe in bed,” Wood told the publication. “With a bathrobe and slippers and a onesie, it’s as if he’s saying, ‘I wish I was a little boy, I want to return to childhood.’

As for Hailey, she looked “very far apart” from Justin. “This is an indication that she doesn’t want to be side-by-side with him,” the expert continued. “It seems she’s over him and doesn’t want to be associated with him.”

“He seems in pain and wants people to notice he’s in pain,” Wood added. “His strange clothing is attention-seeking.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo and his wife, Mariah Riddlesprigger Antetokounmpo, quietly announced another pregnancy in late November 2024 with a social media post of Mariah’s growing bump. Some fans were shocked to hear that a fourth Antetokounmpo offspring was on the way. The couple has celebrated three births since 2020. However, the Greek-Nigerian NBA player and his wife have always wanted a big family.

Recently, the pair celebrated Stephen Curry’s bourbon at a special party. Despite the booze-focused celebration, a very pregnant Mariah made sure to attend.

Fans know Giannis and Mariah Antetokounmpo for their generous and humble spirits. After meeting in the mid-2010s, the couple wed in the summer of 2024 presumably between babies. Now, they make occasional appearances together, including one on February 16. Lending their support to their close friend, Giannis and Mariah attended Stephen Curry’s party featuring the Golden State star’s Gentleman’s Cut bourbon.

In 2023, Steph Curry launched Gentleman’s Cut Bourbon, a straight bourbon whiskey distilled in Boone County, Kentucky, and aged for 5 to 7 years. The 4-time NBA champion was involved in everything from the mash to the aging process.

The former Philadelphia 76ers intern wore a curve-hugging mock-neck dress that showed off her ample baby bump. She accessorized with a diamond necklace and a black crocodile handbag.

Despite her gorgeous outfit, the mom is “big on comfort.” Mariah launched a loungewear collection called Sincerely, Mariah in 2021, according to the Wisconsin Rapids Daily Tribune. Since then, Vogue Greece has featured her on their digital cover. Mariah told the publication, “I wish that my kindness and generosity will one day make my children proud of their mum. They will definitely be proud of their dad, he is Giannis Antetokounmpo.”

This is Mariah’s fourth baby with her NBA-champion husband. The couple’s first son, Liam, was born on February 10, 2020. Their second son, Maverick, arrived on August 18, 2021. Daughter Eva Brooke was born on September 14, 2023. Throughout the pregnancies and deliveries, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Mariah have given back to their Milwaukee community through initiatives like diaper drives.

The mom explained her reasoning on Instagram, writing, “Diapers, wipes, food, etc. should be accessible and affordable for all families. I realize that I am privileged and fortunate enough to be able to afford those basic needs. With that privilege, I believe it is also my duty to give back and help other mothers and families provide those basic needs for their children.”

Now, the Antetokounmpo family is adding another baby to their brood. In 2023, Mariah took to Instagram Live, sharing, “We want a large family. I don’t think we’re done. We’re definitely not done.”

With a $70 million net worth and counting, according to Celebrity Net Worth, this NBA family could certainly support a big family. In October 2023, Giannis Antetokounmpo extended his contract with the Milwaukee Bucks, agreeing to three years and $186 million. This extension means the power forward/center will stay in Cream City through at least the 2026-27 season.
